While harvesting today is done by hand, starting, rehabilitating, and ongoing maintenance should not be, even though it has been in many communities. Help provide the proper tools for farmers to be more efficient with farming rakes, hoes, shovels, and buckets.
Each village will receive a shared set of tools to help get started on improving or even starting their gardens. Once they have been able to improve and see their harvest yields improve, the farmers will have learned to budget and save for a set of their own tools.
